You will notice a very strong sense of Community at Bartholomeus Klip, thanks to the employment and care that is provided to staff and their families. In addition to training so that staff can ‘move up’ to more senior positions, the Farm has helped the community establish a crèche and the Reserve Manager has also created an Eco Club at the local school, with children visiting the reserve and farm on a regular basis.

We had happy days swimming and canoeing in the reservoir but the lack of personal attention was noticeable compared to the other places we stayed.

As soon as we arrived the kids wanted to stay here for the remainder of the holiday. A truly great recommendation.
