Kuzuko Lodge
Situated in the Zuurberg Mountains, Kuzuko boats astonishing vistas from its stand- alone chalets, restaurant and pool across Addo Elephant National Park (although currently game drives are operated in a private concession). With children sharing free, the Lodge offers excellent value for families.

Facilities & Services
- Rim flow swimming pool with views to the Bush.
- Wellness centre offering treatments such as manicures and massages for a charge.
- Game drives twice a day in to the private concession. Please note that whilst Lion, Elephant, Black Rhino, Cheetah and many other species are present, this area is not home to giraffe or white rhino as these species are not thought to be endemic.
- Bush walks to see San Cave Paintings in the local area (just outside the private reserve).
- Telescope for star gazing in to the clear night skies.
Bars & Restaurants
- The restaurant enjoys an elevated position and includes an outside deck.
- A Boma for occasional meals under the stars is also available.
Overview
Up to 2 children under 12 share free of charge on a sofa bed. Please note that all meals for children, however, are payable locally. All ages are welcome to join their parents on game drives and an enclosed vehicle and baby seats are available allowing even the youngest guests to participate in animal spotting!

Room types
24 air-conditioned stand-alone, thatched rooms are decorated in simple African style incorporating earthy tones and benefit from complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, minibar for a charge and satellite TV.
A private deck and bath with a view are the high lights!
Family
- All rooms benefit from a sofa bed suitable for up to 2 children under the age of 12.
- The fence is camped and adjacent rooms not a great distance apart should you wish to book 2 separate suites.
Rates
Rates from £220 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of all meals and game drives (Valid 01/01/12 – 31/12/12).
Family
Children under 12 share free of charge, paying only for meals at 50% rate (please enquire for latest charges).

The Lodge has undertaken a number of socially conscious projects. These include organising a nursing sister to visit the area once a month giving locals acess to health care and ensuring all children of school-going age within the commmunity attend.
The Lodge has also Partnered with Umziwethu, a Port Elizabeth based project that seeks to take people from dsiadvantaged backgrounds and train them for jobs in the hospitality industry before placing with their partners in the industry – Kuzuko has already employed several students as chefs, waiters and field guides.

I can’t think of a single improvement needed. Service was above and beyond, facilities were new and well kept, food was excellent and chef was very attentive with my daughter’s nut allergy. Beautiful location and awesome safari guide, just perfect.
