Looking after younger guests

• The lodge has a special play area called ‘Kiddies Corner’ where children can build
  puzzles, draw pictures and discover more about the animals that inhabit Etosha National Park.
• The lodge has a special swimming pool for children
• Jungle gym with a play tractor and sand pit.

Children’s Meals

Meal times and meals will be arranged around the needs of the children.

Babysitting & Supervised Activities

• Baking cookings at breakfast to eat later is one of the special activities for children at the lodge.
• Very friendly child minders’ services to keep the children active and are provided free of charge.

Safety

The lodge is build within natural surroundings so snakes and other creatures do come out during the day and night. Parents and children should be on lookout and avoid any contact with dangerous creatures.

Room Types

Each of the 16 spacious and airy en-suite tents are built from a combination of canvas, wood and local limestone with an 8 square metre private verandah and roof to floor windows. The large bathrooms have an oversized window and shower looking into the surrounding bush whilst inside features include a coffee station, safe, mosquito net, hair drier and floor fan.

Family

4 of these tents are ideally suited for families with small children as they have a sleeper couch sleeping up to 2 children under 12.

Rates

Rates start from £90 per person sharing a tent on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis (valid 01/10/11 – 31/10/12).

Family

• Children 3 years and younger stay for free
• Children 4 -11 sharing a sleeper couch pay £28 per child
• Children 12 and older pay full adult rates (sharing may be possible on request).
