Overview

Shibula welcomes children of all ages and is located in beautiful area near a lovely stream. Please note children under 7 are not allowed on the main game drives, whilst those age 7 – 16 should be accompanied by their parents.

Looking after younger guests

Communal swimming pool and clay and board games are also available.

Children’s Meals

The lodge does not have a specific menu for children but will cater for their needs on request.

Babysitting & Supervised Activities

Babysitting can be arranged for a charge on arrival.

Safety

The lodge is not fenced, and therefore all guests should take care when moving around at the lodge. For their own safety, children are not allowed to run, shout or walk unaccompanied at any time.

Room Types

• 8 luxurious, air-conditioned suites each decorated in its own individual style with special features including Victorian bath, inside and outside shower (in an enclosed area), double wash basin, mini bar and private patio.
• Luxury Units 1, 4 & Executive Suite 5 are fitted with a Jacuzzi. Royal Suites 6 & 7 has a private solar heated pool.
• Luxury Suite 3, Executive Suite 5 and Honeymoon Suite 8 have their own separate lounge area with a fireplace. In these Suites an extra bed can be arranged for a child.
• Satellite television is available in Luxury Suite 3 and in the lounge area of Royal Suite 6 & 7 and Honeymoon Suite 8.

Family

• Royal Suite 6 & 7 are designed for families with it’s inter-leading lounge area, fireplace and plunge pool.
• The lodge can also accommodate 1 child sharing in the following rooms: Executive Suite, the Luxury Suite and the Honeymoon Suite.

Rates

Rates start from £245 per person sharing a luxury unit on a fully inclusive basis. (Valid 01/10/11 – 30/04/12).
During low season the rates are from £174 per adult sharing per night (Valid 01/05/12 – 03/10/12)

Family

Children aged under 12 and sharing with their parents pay 50% of the adult rate.
