Rooms Types

A unique combination of textured interiors includes hand-cut sandstone tiles, thatched roofs, leather and natural wood. All 50 air-conditioned rooms offer coffee tray, Satellite TV with DVD, min-bar and fireplace, opening out on to private patios. Superior Rooms are also laid out over 2 levels with stunning views of Mulberry Dam and the Kloof.

Family

12 Family Suites overlooking the valley and Kloofzicht Dam include one king size bed and 2 twin beds for families of 4. An additional child can also be accompanied on a blow up bed.

Rates

Rates from £133 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of Bed & Breakfast in an Executive or Family Suite (valid 01/01/11 – 31/12/12 but subject to changes)

Family

• Children under 12 sharing with parents stay free of charge, paying only for meals.
• Children age 12 plus sharing with parents pay a supplement of approx £55 to include breakfast.
• Children in their own room charged at adult rate.

Responsible Tourism

Guvon Hotels policy is to appoint local staff (as far as possible) and offer training through the Training & Skills Development department. We also offer an ABet training facility to all unskilled labourers/learners.

We (as Guvon Hotels) assist the local Swartkops Valley Primary School with food on a Friday and every year we host a Christmas party for pupils. We also assist by giving trees to the school to be planted on Arbor Day

Kloofzicht Lodge has earned a Gold Status in the Heritage Environmental Rating Program. We also have electricity and water saving incentives in place and recycle.
