Please note: these are inclusive in price unless otherwise stated.
- Pool: A stunning heated pool acts as a focal point both during the day and at night, with shallow areas for children, whilst a second pool (also heated), for adults only, is situated by the Spa.
- Watersports: Please note these are based at Ile aux Cerfs, a 10 minute boat ride across the lagoon. Windsurfing, water-skiing, pedal-boats, laser sailing, hobiecats and kayaks as well as snorkelling and glass-bottomed boat trips.
- Land based Sports: 18-hole Championship golf course, designed by Bernhard Langer, on Ile aux Cerfs, including the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (coaching available at a charge). At the hotel facilities include tennis courts, badminton, bocciball, croquet, table tennis, volleyball and cycling.
- Matt Roberts Personal Training Centre: state-of-the-art gym with free use of equipment but charge for personal trainer services.
- Givenchy Spa: Fully equipped Spa including sauna and full range of body, facial and hair salon appointments available at a charge.
Bars & Restaurants
Please note credit will be given to guests on Half-board not dining in the main restaurant in the evening which generally covers the cost of a main course:
- Three-Nine-Eight offers breakfast and dinner on three different levels, incorporating cuisine from nine countries show-cased in eight ‘live’ cooking areas.
- Barlen’s, an Asian-inspired beachside restaurant, is open for lunch and also for dinner.
- The enchanting Safran, serves classic Indian cuisine with a modern twist during the evenings.
- The Sega Bar, situated in the centre of the main pool, serves drinks, light snacks, cocktails and whiskeys during the day and late into the night.
- Various restaurants and bars such as Paul et Virginie and Crusoe’s serve food and drink on the outlying islands during the day.
Overview
Enjoy the wide range of facilities and activities as a family or let the children discover their own club in the theme of Robin Hood whilst parents take time out to unwind. However guests with young children should be reminded that the Watersports are not on site which could cause some inconvenience.
Looking after younger guests
- Toys and facilities of the ‘KidsOnly’ Club, in the theme of Robin Hood, complete with swimming pool are available during opening hours (please see below). Participants all receive a Welcome Gift.
- Infant and child convenience equipment available as well as child proofing safety options for your room.
- Robe and slippers provided for each child in room.
- Children and family programming channels on in room television.
- Special turndown service.
Children’s Meals
- Children’s Menu available at the restaurants, ‘KidsOnly’ Club and on room service.
- During busy periods, an evening children’s buffet is also served in the ‘KidsOnly’ Club.
- Bespoke Meals available on request
Babysitting & Supervised activities
- Babysitting: Provided at a cost of approximately 190 rupees per hour.
- Organised In-House Activities: The ‘KidsOnly’ Club is complimentary for younger guests up to the age of 11 years, is open from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. Age-appropriate, supervised activities take place at the Club and throughout the hotel, with environmental excursions also taking place on occasion. Please note children aged under 4 must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter after 7 pm and during the day if wearing a nappy.
- Facilitated activities for children age 12 – 17 years such as sports and other adventure programs.
- Special holiday and school break programmes planned for the entire family
Room types
All rooms are air conditioned with mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities and sea-views and benefit from a personalised 24-hour butler service. Please note approximate areas include balcony/terrace.
- 68 Deluxe Rooms are situated on the mainland in the Coral Wing (54 square metres) and in the Hibiscus Wing (56 square metres).
- 125 Junior Suites (65 square metres with King size bed or 70 square metres with 2 x Queen size beds) are located in the Hibiscus Wing or on Frangipani Island (with feature bath but most here without beach access), linked to the mainland by a short bridge.
- 6 Ocean Suites (126 square metres) are located on Frangipani Island and feature a spacious, separate sitting/dining room.
- The Royal Suite (320 square metres) is also available for guests requiring further space.
- The addition of 3 new villas with 4 bedrooms and private pools (approx 500 square metres each) offer a luxurious haven.
Family
- Deluxe Rooms in the Coral Wing can accommodate 2 children up to 12 years or 1 teenager up to 18 on a sofa bed. These generally have direct access to the beach but please note there are steps and levels within and outside the room. Those in the Hibiscus Wing whilst being level can only accommodate 1 child up to 18 years on an additional bed plus a cot. Interconnecting Rooms of this type are also available.
- Junior Suites can accommodate 2 children up to 12 sharing on a sofa bed or 1 teenage up to 18 with Queen Bed for parents or only 1 child if King Bed. Rooms of this type interconnect with both Deluxe Rooms and other Junior Suites.
- Ocean Suites can accommodate 2 children up to 12 sharing or 1 teenager up to 18 whilst the Royal Suite can accommodate 1 child up to 18. Interconnecting rooms of this type with Junior Suites are also available.
- Villas can accommodate a maximum of 4 children less than 12 or 2 teenagers less than 18 sharing
Rates
Rates from £130 per adult per night inclusive of Half Board in a Deluxe Room (valid 01/10/11 – 30/09/12). Minimum nights do apply and rates vary by season.
Upgrade to Junior Suite for an extra £11 per adult sharing, per night.
